FAQs

How do League Packages work?

Each League Package cycle is one month in length, and will automatically renew on the same day each month. For example, if you activate your League Package on April 5, your package will renew on May 5. Please note that any classes not used during a package cycle (i.e. 2 classes per week for Premier Lite Package) are forfeited and will not be exercisable in the next cycle. The League does NOT require an annual/long-term commitment. You can cancel your package at any time, given 30-day written notice prior to the next billing date. If you choose to return to The League, you will be placed into the current pricing structure regardless of the pricing of your original rates.

How do I sign up for a class? What is the class sign in policy?

Go to the Sign Up Now! tab and purchase your option by clicking “Sign Up Here” next to your choice. Follow the prompts in the Mindbody portal. Then go to the “Schedule” tab and click “Sign Up Now” next to the class you want to attend and you’ll be added to the list! You do not need to bring a voucher or print out to class — just bring a photo ID. We ask that you sign in for classes online or through the Mindbody Connect App ahead of time to reserve your spot in a PAC(K) class. We max our classes at 32, so participation will be granted on a “first signed-in” basis if the class is full.

Is this crossfit?

No, The League is not affiliated with crossfit. Our strength and conditioning programming is based on protocol backed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (the agency which certifies professional strength and conditioning coaches). Based on NSCA research and guidelines, we have developed our own functional fitness format called PAC(K) Training.

What is PAC(K) Training?

Our signature PAC(K) training format is custom-created by our Lead Instructor Terry Williams. Drawing on a background in strength and conditioning work with professional athletes and a Master’s Degree in Health and Human Performance, Terry devised a program that ensures maximal results for all, and has a modifiable design suiting beginners and experts alike. It always follows the same format but no two sessions are exactly alike. We care about proper form and working hard – getting 1% better everyday! PAC(K) is an acronym that stands for the different parts of the workout:

Power: strength and power focus
Aerobics: cardio focus
Circuit Training: rotation through circuit stations, combining dynamic strength training and HIIT cardio
KEEP MOVING! This is our mantra and our mindset — in workouts and in life outside of the gym, this is our challenge to you!

Do you offer personal training?

Yes! Personal training sessions take place throughout the day and can work with your schedule! 30-minute sessions are $50. As long as you hold a training package with The League, you can access personal training sessions as well!

Do you offer nutritional services?

Yes! Terry has a wealth of knowledge in nutrition drawing on a Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance as well as research as a professional nutrition writer for Livestrong.com and other publications. We offer a 20-minute phone or in-person consultation with Terry to discuss nutritional goal setting and plan your meal prep strategy as well as a 30-minute guided grocery store visit with Terry to discuss best practices when it comes to preparing for your new clean eating lifestyle. Go to the Nutrition Coaching tab for more information and to book!

Is there a minimum age requirement?

Yes, you must be 16 years of age to train in a group class at The League, however, our personal training sessions are for any age!

Do you have an area for kids?

How do I know if the class will be the right level for my abilities?

At The League, we pride ourselves on being suitable for all levels — from beginners to advanced. Our PAC(K) Training format is structured to be modified to any level of fitness so that anyone in any class can get better in each workout! We’ve found that in many cases, you get out of class what you put into it! Our trainers are happy to instruct you on how to alter certain aspects of the workout for your level or for any injury you may have. Of course, be sure to consult your doctor to make sure you are healthy enough to participate in physical activities!
